Manufacturing Engineering Technology

A Model 2+2+2 Career Path for Manufacturing Engineering Technology (PDF)

This career model is intended to guide students towards achievement of Associate and Bachelor of Science degrees in Manufacturing Engineering Technology major.

Students can start participating in the MFET program by taking college courses during junior and senior years in high schools.

High school diploma and college certificate

Students then continue at San Diego City College with MFET major for 2 years after high school graduation.
> Associate of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology

Students may continue at California State University - Long Beach with MET major for an additional 2 years.
> Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology
