The City College Technical Illustration program teaches students the theory
and techniques they need to become successful technical illustrators in
engineering and publishing Students learn to produce professional technical
illustrations using Computer Assisted Design (CAD) programs. "The Technical
Illustration program leads to a certificate of completion with courses in print
reading, introduction to CAD, computer applications, engineering graphics,
machine technology, and basic and advanced technical illustration.
