It is our hope that the activities and educational materials made possible by World Cultures grants, will continue to play a vital role in promoting educational equity and an increased awareness and appreciation of ethnic, gender, environmental and multi-cultural diversity.

The mandate given by a joint administrative and faculty committee establishing the World Cultures program was to enhance the diversity of San Diego City College's curriculum and campus life.
