applying for a grant
Any SDCC faculty, staff or department
representative wishing to enhance his or her curriculum, or to
promote an on or off campus event, is eligible to apply for
grant funding. Student groups, with the approval of their
designated advisor, may also apply for grant funds. Individual
faculty members or departments may apply no more than twice in
the same semester.
All applications must be submitted no less than two weeks prior
to the proposed activity or event in order for the application
to be submitted to committee review. The "Call for Grant
Proposals" is sent out to the City College campus community via
e-mail with the first week of each semester.
Historically, the World Cultures Committee meets within the
first four weeks of the start of each semester. Anyone
interested in applying for grant funds should contact World
Cultures at the beginning of the semester for details.
Deadline for Faculty Grant Proposals:
September 21, 2007
Amount limit: $250
funding/semester
Completed proposals must be turned in to the World Cultures
mailbox by day's end in order to be considered by the World
Cultures Committee for the Spring semester.
