Comments:   As of 04/2011- The Programming Design team, which helps to plan the initial space requirements and adjacencies for the project, met with the faculty and staff in early 2010, then were on hold during Summer 2010 break, and resumed again in 09/2010.  In 11/2010 the Campus decided to include 2 additional programs in this project which resulted in the space requests from the building's departments/programs exceeding the total building space available.  In 01/2011 the Programming Design team met with the Campus VPs and Deans to review the square footage overages.  The Campus VPs and Deans then reviewed the programming data with their departments, faculty, and staff and made reductions to allow the square footage to fit into the building.  As of 04/2011- The Campus PM's office will now schedule a follow up meeting with the Deans and VPs, along with the Programming Design team and District Architect, to review and reanalyze the project status, in addition to the request for general purpose classrooms. Once all utilization and square footage issues are resolved, the Design Build RFP for this project (for a project Architect to complete the design and Contractor team) is expected to be advertised in 08/2011 and design efforts will then begin with the project design team in 09/2011.  Design efforts & meetings with the faculty and campus will continue through Fall 2011, with construction planned to begin in early 2013.  Please note, renovation construction cannot begin until Science Bldg, BT/AH buildings, and MaSS Building are complete.
