PLEASE NOTE: ASK THE E-COUNSELOR SERVICES WILL BE OFFERED ON A VERY LIMITED BASIS FROM MAY 30 - AUGUST 7
All prospective and continuing students at City College are invited to ask GENERAL counseling related questions via email. Because of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) e-counselors will only provide general information, and will not review or discuss personal information on a student's academic record via email. If you need to review your academic record please call the Counseling office to schedule an appointment or stop by the office to meet with a walk-in Counselor for a brief 10-minute session.
Emails will be answered ONCE A WEEK ONLY during the summer.
Due to the high volume of student emails and the limited availability during the summer, it may take up to 2 weeks to get a reply, especially during peak periods (registration/beginning of semester). If you have a pressing issue please call the Counseling Department at 619.388.3540 or stop by building E-2 to see a Walk-in Counselor. Before using this feature, be sure to check our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page for answers to many common questions.
Before you click on the link below remember that the eCounselor will NOT REVIEW OR DISCUSS ANY PERSONAL ACADEMIC RECORDS INFORMATION for confidentiality reasons. PLEASE DO NOT PROVIDE YOUR CSID #. This service is strictly for general, non-specific counseling related questions.
