With guidance from faculty and programs across campus, she graduated with honors and earned a full-ride scholarship to the University of San Diego. Now, she’s preparing for a future where she can return to City as a counselor, helping students overcome challenges like the ones she once faced. Today, he San Diego City College student Celina Martinez has turned challenges into opportunities, rising from long commutes and academic uncertainty to become ASG President for 2025–26. Dedicated to advocacy and leadership, she’s already founded City’s first mock trial team, represented students statewide, and gained hands-on legal experience. Martinez’s vision extends beyond campus as she prepares to transfer to UCLA or UC Berkeley before pursuing law school.
