The Black Excellence Resource Center is a space where students can be their authentic selves. It is designed to feel like home. When you walk into T-220, you will find welcoming lounge areas, affirming messages, and spaces to study, read, or connect with others.

Community and Collaboration

The center works closely with Umoja, Black Studies faculty, and other campus programs to provide meaningful workshops, events, and networking opportunities. Students will help shape programming through an advisory board to ensure this space reflects your needs and your voice.

Stop by T-220 to study, connect, attend a workshop, or simply relax. Faculty, classified professionals, and students are encouraged to share information about the center and partner with us to support student success.
