Inclusive City Achievement Network (ICAN)

Our program is dedicated to providing a supportive environment for AAPI students and those interested in learning from AAPI perspectives and experiences. We currently offer courses centering these perspectives , our Asian and Pacific Islander Student Alliance (APSA) club, and exclusive academic counseling.

Fall 2025 courses include:

• ENGL C1000 – Academic Reading & Writing

• HIST 123 – US History of the Asian Pacific American Experience

• PHIL 106 – Asian Philosophy

• PERG 120 – College Success & Lifelong Learning

• ARTF 125 – Arts of the Asian Continent

ICAN connects students with counseling services that support both their academic progress and their overall well-being. Students can meet with counselors to plan classes, ask questions about majors or transfer, and learn about helpful campus resources.

Support available:

• Academic counseling for class planning and education pathways

• General advising for personal or college-related concerns

• Culturally sensitive support for AAPI students and anyone seeking guidance

• Help connecting with helpful campus programs, clubs, and student resources

APSA is a student-led club where students connect, share culture, and build community. The club partners with ICAN and the AANHPI Center to offer activities that support social, academic, and cultural growth.
