The Outreach team at San Diego City College is committed to meeting students where they are - within their communities. Through partnerships with local schools, organizations, and nonprofits, we bring college resources, programs, and opportunities directly to our neighborhoods in San Diego. Our culturally responsive approach ensures that our outreach efforts address the unique needs of diverse populations, promoting access, equity and social justice. From dual enrollment and application assistance to workshops on navigating college systems, we empower students to take their first steps toward higher education. By fostering connections and building bridges, we strive to make education accessible and transformative for all.

May 4-22 Fall Registration Dates: Priority for eligible DSPS; EOPS; CalWORKs; Homeless or Foster Youth; Active Duty Military & Veterans; Intercollegiate Athletes; Parents with underage children
May 26 Open Registration begins 
August 2 Drop for Non-Payment of Enrollment Fees (for classes that start between August 24-October 18) (Does not include Health Fees, Student with Anticipated Financial or Veteran Aid, HS, Apprenticeship, R2T4, Promise)
August 3 Bus and Trolley passes available for purchase
August 23 Residency determination date
August 24 Fall Semester Begins
September 4 Last Day to receive, process, and pay for class permission numbers. Refund deadline for enrollment fees and/or nonresident tuition. Deadline to drop classes with no "W" recorded 
September 7 Labor Day Holiday
September 27 Drop for Non-Payment of Enrollment Fees (for classes that start October 19 and later)
October 30 (16-week classes) Withdrawal Deadline -- The last day to withdraw from classes and receive a "W". No drops accepted after this date; students must receive a letter grade. Pass/No Pass grading option deadline
November 11 Veterans Day Holiday
November 23-29 Thanksgiving - Classes not in session
December 21 End of Fall Semester (Grades start posting and are viewable in mySDCCD)
