Sustainability

Curriculum - 1 and 2 leaf courses are courses with environmental sustainability content. We work with Mesa and Miramar Colleges collaborating to redesign courses with the goal of reaching most disciplines.

Basic Needs on campus

Our zero waste resolution passed by the Academic Senate in Fall, 2025 centers on events on campus.

Goals:

When ordering food, try to pick food where plates, utencils are not needed, like whole fruit, pizza, burritos, sandwiches, etc.

Eliminate when possible single use plastic such as balloons, utencils, plastic tablecloths, etc.
