Emergency Notice
Possible Impact of Hurricane Hilary
As Hurricane Hilary approaches, it's essential to stay informed and prepared for its potential impacts. While San Diego is not often in the direct path of hurricanes, it's still important to understand the possible consequences and take necessary precautions. The college is notifying our Campus Community Emergency Response Team (C-CERT) to make the necessary preparations. At this time, the college will be open for the start of the fall semester.
Please use this opportunity to download the LiveSafe app and stay connected through the college’s website, email, and social media channels. We will be monitoring the storm over the weekend. If the weather worsens, we will send out a communication Sunday evening. The National Weather Service is predicting up to an inch of rain for Monday and Tuesday. The storm is expected to lessen in intensity as it approached San Diego on Sunday. We do expect that students and our colleagues may be impacted by the inclement weather so we are planning accordingly.
