National Cybersecurity Training and Educational Center

NCyTE (formerly Cyber Watch West) is committed to improving the quantity and quality of existing cybersecurity resources and building upon these resources to develop effective training and teaching modules. By concentrating on student development; professional development; and curriculum development, revision, and dissemination, NCyTE Center incorporates effective outreach efforts to raise awareness and build viable partnerships among academia and industry.

National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education

The mission of NICE is to energize and promote a robust network and an ecosystem of cybersecurity education, training, and workforce development. NICE fulfills this mission by coordinating with government, academic, and industry partners to build on existing successful programs, facilitate change and innovation, and bring leadership and vision to increase the number of skilled cybersecurity professionals helping to keep our Nation secure.

Department of Defense Cyber Workforce

The DoD Cyber Workforce Framework establishes the DoD's authoritative lexicon based on the work an individual is performing, not their position titles, occupational series, or designator.The DCWF describes the work performed by the full spectrum of the cyber workforce as defined in DoD Directive (DoDD) 8140.01. The DCWF leverages the original National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE) Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (NCWF) and the DoD Joint Cyberspace Training and Certification Standards (JCT&CS).

National Youth Cyber Education Program

CyberPatriot the National Youth Cyber Education Program created by the Air Force Association (AFA) to inspire K-12 students toward careers in cybersecurity or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines critical to our nation's future.

San Diego Cyber Center of Excellence

The Cyber Center of Excellence is a non-profit organization formed to accelerate job and economic growth in the cyber community. This organization is driven by a collection of world-class cyber companies who have operations located in San Diego. Industry leaders including NIWC Pacific, Qualcomm, FICO, ESET, Sentek Global, Lockton Insurance, Morrison Foerster and San Diego Regional EDC are a few of the founding participants.

Women in Cybersecurity

WiCyS has become a continuing effort to recruit, retain and advance women in cybersecurity. It brings together women (students/faculty/researchers/professionals) in cybersecurity from academia, research and industry for sharing of knowledge/experience, networking and mentoring.

International Consortium of Minority Cybersecurity Professionals

The International Consortium of Minority Cyber Professionals (ICMCP) is a 501(c)3 non-profit association that is dedicated to the academic and professional success of minority cyber security students and professionals. ICMCP offers our members mentoring opportunities, professional development services and vast networking resources.

National Institute of Standards and Technology

To promote U.S. innovation and industrial competitiveness by advancing measurement science, standards, and technology in ways that enhance economic security and improve our quality of life.

International Organization for Standardization

ISO is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 161  national standards bodies .Through its members, it brings together experts to share knowledge and develop voluntary, consensus-based, market relevant International Standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.

National Security Agency

The National Security Agency/Central Security Service (NSA/CSS) leads the U.S. Government in cryptology that encompasses both Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) and Information Assurance (IA) products and services, and enables Computer Network Operations (CNO) in order to gain a decision advantage for the Nation and our allies under all circumstances.

United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team

The National Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Center's (NCCIC) mission is to reduce the risk of systemic cybersecurity and communications challenges in our role as the Nation's flagship cyber defense, incident response, and operational integration center. Since 2009, NCCIC has served as a national hub for cyber and communications information, technical expertise, and operational integration, and by operating our 24/7 situational awareness, analysis, and incident response center.

Federal Trade Commission

The FTC protects consumers by stopping unfair, deceptive or fraudulent practices in the marketplace. We conduct investigations, sue companies and people that violate the law, develop rules to ensure a vibrant marketplace, and educate consumers and businesses about their rights and responsibilities. We collect complaints about hundreds of issues from data security and deceptive advertising to identity theft and Do Not Call violations, and make them available to law enforcement agencies worldwide for follow-up. Our experienced and motivated staff uses 21st century tools to anticipate - and respond to - changes in the marketplace.
