Once you have determined your interest, gathered your documents, and are ready to start your employment opportunities, reach out to our Job Placement Coordinator for a one-on-one appointment to help connect you to employment.
To schedule an appointment with the Job Placement Coordinator, book through the Handshake app, call (619) 388-3722, text (619) 500-2842, or visit the Transfer & Career Center in Room A-301.
As an SDCCD student, you should have received an email from Handshake inviting you can activate your FREE account today!
SDCCD has launched a district-wide student & alumni online job board, Handshake, as a free one-stop-shop for kickstarting careers.
Students can activate their Handshake profile to:
- Search and apply for 1000s of jobs, internships, or volunteer opportunities based on their major & interests
- Get personalized job recommendations & connect with employers directly
- Schedule appointments with the Career Center for support with career exploration, resume, job preparation & more!
